Max Verstappen, who started the 56-lap race at the 5,513-kilometer America Circuit in Austin, the capital of Texas, from sixth place, maintained the leadership he took on the 28th lap throughout the race and achieved his 15th victory of this season and the 50th victory of his career.
In the race where Verstappen finished first, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) took second place and Lando Norris (McLaren) took third place.
This season, Verstappen has 15 race wins, Sergio Perez (Red Bull) 2 and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) one. The 6th leg of the season, the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, was canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who finished the US Grand Prix in second place, were disqualified after the race.
