Levi Strauss names former Gap executive Nancy Green as CEO of Beyond Yoga

The sportswear brand Beyond Yoga, which belongs to the US clothing supplier Levi Strauss & Co., is getting a new boss.

On Friday, the parent company announced the appointment of Nancy Green as CEO of the label. The experienced textile manager will take up her new position on February 1st. She succeeds Michelle Wahler, who founded Beyond Yoga in 2005 together with Jodi Guber Brufsky. With Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer Jesse Adams, another important executive will be leaving the brand, according to a statement.

Green has held various key positions at the US clothing company Gap Inc. throughout her career. There she managed the brands Athleta and Old Navy, among others. According to her future employer, in her new role she will “drive the growth and expansion” of Beyond Yoga.

The clothing group Levi Strauss & Co., which also includes the denim label Levi’s and the brands Dockers and Denizen, acquired Beyond Yoga in 2021 in order to “diversify its portfolio” and enter the “highly growth activewear segment”. . According to the company, the brand contributed almost $100 million to consolidated sales in the last fiscal year. The label opened its first store in 2022 and now has six stores.
