Jonathan Tah’s transfer to Munich only seems to be a matter of form. Bayern would already use it at the club World Cup. Does Bayer Leverkusen play there?

The next new addition of FC Bayern is apparently imminent: According to matching media reports, Jonathan Tah decided to move to Munich. Both “picture” and the “kicker” and Sky report that the central defender has given the club to the club.

Accordingly, the 29-year-old should sign a four-year contract. According to the reports, the medical check in Munich is planned before the upcoming meeting point of the national team. The supervisory board of FC Bayern has apparently already approved the transfer.

It is still open when Tah actually moves to Munich. Although his contract at Bayer Leverkusen only officially ends at the end of June, it would be free to transfer, but FC Bayern is trying to get rid of Tah early. The aim is to be able to use it at the club World Cup in the USA (June 14th to July 13th).

According to “kicker”, Leverkusen is said to demand a transfer fee, which could therefore be with an average million sum. The simple calculation: If Tah comes to Bayern earlier, he could do the three group games and a possibly round of 16. A good chance for the record champions to take more money through good results. Leverkusen wants to earn this in advance.
