Even before the winter transfer window officially opens, several Bundesliga clubs have already secured transfers. Some departures are also certain.

Leverkusen made a long-term commitment with Issa Traoré, who will now strengthen the squad for the second half of the season. Bayer has been in agreement about the transfer with Traoré and his club Djoliba AC, based in Mail’s capital Bamako, since November 2024. According to FIFA regulations, Traoré could only join the Werkself when he reached the age of majority in January 2026. Bayer should only have to pay training compensation. In courting the talented central defender, Leverkusen is said to have outplayed FC Bayern, among others.

At the same time, a departure is also certain: Claudio Echeverri will leave Leverkusen early. The highly gifted offensive player has not had a lasting chance so far. The loan agreement with Manchester City ends at the end of this year on December 31st.

Eintracht Frankfurt continues to rely on young, promising players and has secured two new signings, Keita Kosugi (19) and Love Arrhov (17). Both players come from the Swedish league. Frankfurt will pay Djurgårdens a transfer fee of 6.5 million euros for the Japanese left-back Kosugi. Brommapojkarna is due 4.6 million euros for the Swedish attacking midfielder Arrhov.

Eintracht has also signed second division shooting star Younes Ebnoutalib from SV Elversberg. The 22-year-old has a contract until 2031, as the club announced on Monday. Both clubs did not provide any information about the transfer fee. There was recent speculation about a sum of around eight million euros plus bonus payments.

Ebnoutalib played in the regional league for FC Gießen just over a year ago. Last winter he moved to Elversberg for just around 50,000 euros and developed into a whiz kid there in the current second division season. The German-Moroccan leads the scorers list with twelve goals and played a major role in SVE taking second place behind leaders FC Schalke 04 after the first series.
