Update July 27, 4:10 p.m.: According to the “Bild”, Leverkusen rejected a first offer from Monaco. This should be far below the approximately 4 million euros required by Bayer 04. Nevertheless, everything speaks to the Monegassen for a change of Hradeckys, because there he was intended as number one and could earn more. Up to 3 million euros net should be possible, with the Werkelf it is up to 4 million euros, but gross. Leverkusen is said to have not yet given up the fight for the keeper and wants to keep it after the career with an extension, including a follow -up contract.

Hradecky had switched to the Werkelf free free of charge after three years at Eintracht Frankfurt and, with a few exceptions, turned out to be a reliable regular. The Finn, who won the double with Bayer 2024 under coach Xabi Alonso, was 286 times between the Leverkusen posts, conceded 354 goals and held 86 times too zero. In the ranking of the club record players, Rüdiger Vollborn (487 missions) and Bernd Leno (304) are only two final men ahead of Hradecky.

As of today, AS Monaco goes into the season with the goalkeeper trio Radoslaw Majecki (25), Philipp Köhn (27) and Yann Lienard (22). And at Bayer 04, the former Freiburg flekken was hired by the Bees with the prospect of Hradecke’s successor for around 10 million euros and equipped with a contract until 2028. “For the coming years, we are very well positioned in the team at the goalkeeper positions,” said sports director Simon Rolfes in early June. “Mark radiates impressive physical presence, and in terms of football, he has certainly been one of the best keepers from the Premier League in the past two years.” Hradecky still has a working paper in Leverkusen by 2026.
