Leverkusen (dpa) – Bayer 04 Leverkusen has extended the contract with reserve goalkeeper Niklas Lomb, which expires in the summer. The 28-year-old’s new contract is valid until June 30, 2024, as the Bundesliga club from the Rhineland announced.
Lomb has played for Leverkusen since he was young and has been loaned out several times in recent years. Lomb made two appearances for Bayer 04 in the Bundesliga and four times in the Europa League.
“I know my role very well and I want to help push the team and ensure the highest possible level in training,” Lomb is quoted as saying by the club.
