In a letter to FIFA President Infantino, well-known organizations have expressed “deep concern” about US President Trump. Whose migration policy violates human rights that FIFA should act.

More than 90 organizations have signed the letter, including the well -known human rights organizations “Human Rights Watch” and “Amnesty International”. The majority of the signatories make up organizations based in the United States and also fan gradations.
Danger of deportation and detention
The letter states that foreigners take the risk of being detained, detained or deported at the control stations even if they entered their entry. This also applies to political statements that displeased the administration.

In 2017, Infantino had said to the USA, Mexico and Canada before awarding the 2026 World Cup 2026: “There are many countries with entry restrictions and visa requirements. But of course in FIFA competitions: every qualified team, including their officials and fans, need access to the host country – otherwise there is no World Cup.”
FIFA has long since moved away from such clear words, despite several reminders, warnings and letters.
