The TV program Goedemorgen Nederland is a kind of springboard for television talent. Leonie ter Braak also experienced her breakthrough there. She soon switched to SBS 6, but it is obvious that that channel does not suit her at all. After a few failed adventures like Mars v Venus and Cupid Orzo, she is now gasping for the ratings flop HLF8.

Leonie to RTL

Leonie has had enough: she has received an offer from RTL and will switch as of January. That is quite striking, because RTL intends to take over Talpa. Apparently there is no longer so much confidence in the Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets, which has to give permission for this. After the merger, a huge power party arises.

RTL confirms to the AD that Leonie has signed a three-year contract with the station. It is unclear what exactly she will do, but it will not surprise anyone when it comes to the presentation of RTL Boulevard and some serious things next to it at Videoland. credible to stay.

End for HLF8?

The situation is now becoming more and more dire for the early talk show HLF8. That is now presented three days a week by Hélène Hendriks and two days by Leonie, because Johnny de Mol is far from ready to return. Several celebrities no longer even want to sit at a talk show table with him.

Now that Leonie is leaving, only Hélène remains and it is no secret that she does not want to present this program at all. The only solution seems to be to really pull the plug from HLF8.

Lost case

The former boss of SBS 6, Fons van Westerloo, thinks that HLF8 is a lost cause anyway. “All those talk shows are fishing in the same pond. If you know as a guest: that program does not score, then you would rather sit somewhere else and you will also see that the good guests are elsewhere. As a program you end up in a downward spiral.”

He continues in The Telegraph: “HLF8 is a lost cause, it never got off the ground and it won’t happen again.”
