Dutch football coach Leo Beenhakker has died at the age of 82. Real Madrid reported the sad news in his X account.
Beenhakker coached Real Madrid in 1986-99 and 1992. He led his troops to three La Liga championships and one cup win.
Beenhakker is also remembered as a coach for Feyenoord and Ajax and several national teams. He led both Feyenoord and Ajax to the Dutch Championship.
Beenhakker retired from football tasks in 2018.
