As in the previous year, RB Leipzig fans will follow the cup final from the curve at the marathon gate of the Olympic Stadium. The club announced this as the result of a finalist meeting.
The defending champion will move into the away dressing room and will wear red shirts and red shorts. Opponents Eintracht Frankfurt will formally be the home team on June 3 and will play in white shirts and black shorts.
The cup season begins with the presentation of the cup in Berlin’s Red Town Hall. The act is to be completed on May 22nd. Sports director Max Eberl, club ambassador Perry Brautigam and one player are there for Leipzig, and sports director Markus Krösche, captain Sebastian Rode and brand ambassador Karl-Heinz Körbel for Frankfurt.
The Hessians will celebrate their fan festival at Breitscheidplatz. The location of the RB festival should not be announced until Tuesday. Alexanderplatz is under discussion.
