Leicester City tie home-grown Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

“A Big Day for Me”

Leicester City have extended the contract of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall early. As the “Foxes” announced, the 23-year-old is now bound for three more years until 2027. The homegrown talent has been at the club since 2006, only interrupted by two loans to Blackpool FC and Luton Town. Most recently, he increased his market value twice in a row. While it was appraised at 2 million euros in December, it is now at 8 million euros.

Dewsbury-Hall, who celebrated his breakthrough last season and played a total of 43 games, said: “I’m very proud and very happy. It’s a big day for me and my family. There’s a lot of hard work behind this deal and it’s a really nice feeling to sign it. Now I’m just looking forward to the future. I’ve been here since I was eight years old, so it was a no-brainer when I sat down and we talked about the contract.”
