The Lego Masters finale, like all previous episodes of this season, was not popular with the viewer. Yesterday only 687 thousand people (15 percent market share) watched the broadcast on RTL 4, good for a place in the lower regions of the daily top 15 viewership.

Very disappointing

Tina Nijkamp, the authority in the field of viewing figures and related matters, thinks that Lego Masters is finished. “For Lego Masters, this very disappointing season is over. With 687 thousand viewers, this final scores less than half of the two previous editions (1.5 and 1.4 million viewers).

It doesn’t surprise her. “It was not a spectacular final and with a very boring editing. In addition to the many changes in the presentation and jury area, the assignments this season were less spectacular and the editing was therefore boring, also due to the little use of music.”

Fourth season?

It would surprise Tina if a fourth season is made in the short term. “At the end, yesterday was still called up for a season four, but I think that will take a while and probably without Belgium. It scored even worse there: around 200,000 viewers.”

Immediately after Lego Masters, Robert ten Brink did better with 824 thousand viewers (22 percent) for VriendenLoterij Miljonairs. The RTL 4 evening ended with 434 thousand viewers (15 percent) for Humberto on Saturday.

Andre on one

The big winner in prime time was André van Duin with 951 thousand viewers (20 percent) for De Grote Kleine Treinen Competition. Immediately afterwards, Matthijs goes door had to be satisfied with 800,000 viewers (20 percent).

The other most viewed prime-time titles were NPO 2’s Dwars door België (868 thousand and 18 percent), SBS 6’s De Alleskunner VIPS (706 thousand and 18 percent) and SBS 6’s Ik Hou Van Holland (697 thousand and 15 percent).
