The excitement in the English Premier League continued with the Leeds United-Chelsea match in the 14th week. Enzo Maresca and his team, who beat giant teams such as Arsenal and Barcelona in their last matches and whose wrist has not been bent for 7 matches in all competitions, went through hell at Elland Road Stadium. Leeds United, which had a 4-match losing streak in the Premier League, defeated Chelsea 3-1 at the end of 90 minutes.

The host closed the first half ahead 2-0 with the goals of Jaka Bijol (min. 6) and Ao Tanaka (min. 43). In the 50th minute of the match, Pedro Lomba Neto’s goal reduced the difference to 1 and Chelsea’s hopes rose, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled the plug at the 72nd minute and the score of the match was assigned: 3-1.

With this result, Leeds United rose to 17th place with 14 points and escaped the relegation zone. Chelsea, on the other hand, remained stable in 4th place with 24 points.
