The Red Pilot at the APM Munich gala in Cannes: “I love details and bracelet with the date of my favorite podium”
There are days that are worth a lifetime. And on May 26, 2024 it is one of these. Charles Leclerc always brings him with him, on a bracelet that glitters, who proudly shows and that defines his favorite. That day of a year ago, Ferrari Principino made a dream come true, win on the home circuit, very difficult and equally glamorous, the first Monegasque of the story to succeed. “In the last two laps I was struggling to see, for tears. I dedicate it to my father who did everything because I was here,” he said, very excited, on arrival. A triumph of speed and heart, the one he also put last Sunday in Imola without success and that makes him say “there are still things to understand, but I have no regrets”.
Sincerity
–
The art of turning the page and reacting to the defaillance is among the first notions that teaches you and to whom sport trains you. Thus, even if today, on the eve of “his” GP, Ferrari runs less than a year ago, Charles has not lost his smile, nor the desire and motivations. “If you want a sincere answer, I must say that our chances are low this time, you need a company, our car has struggled a lot in the slow curves and here there are only those, but we will never give up,” he says in the usual pre-question press conference. First, however, a gala evening is granted, on La TerreAsse by Albane in Cannes, for APM Monaco, the Philippe Prette jewelry brand and his wife Kika, who dedicated his favorite bracelet to him and of which he is Global Ambassador together with the actress Eva Longoria, the Gabrielle of Desperate Housewives, and the American Tiktaker Dixie D’Anelio. An evening to be star, a few steps from the world festival of the world’s most chic film, to present the new ETé line of jewelry: artisan and accessible luxury Savoir-Faire.

Question of values
–
Passion, determination and elegance: APM Monaco has chosen the red pilot for this. He is a Leclerc champion, not just on the track. Cortese in the ways, measured in words, loves art, ice cream, always music (the piano plays and writes his songs) and fashion without excesses “because it is a way of expressing himself without speaking” he learned it by traveling with the F1 (yesterday he also presented his first capsule collection signed with Rocco Iannone for Ferrari Style inspired by his wardrobe). And if passion and determination are the engine of his life. The elegance that goes beyond clothes knows of truth: “It is when everything is fluid, it is true. Feeling well with himself, this is elegance for me”. Elegantly sporty, classic and together contemporary. “I have a simple style, I hope elegant and, in some way, sought: I always try to cure the details, they make it all a little more interesting”.
Accessories
–
The details always make the difference, that we talk about single -seater, alectons, tires as look. In pole position there are accessories: “I cannot leave the house without the bracelet, my rings and the clock. I can forget something, but not to wear the bijoux: they make me feel in place, myself and to my ease”. And it is here that he shows us the right wrist and elects his favorite: “most likely the piece they made for me, this bracelet with the date of the victory of Monaco last year: it is very special. But apart from this that I always carry, I really like to change”.

Blue like the sea
–
And in Montecarlo he also changes suit. Ferrari and Puma renew the tradition of special suits for home GPs. This time Leclerc wears an almost entirely white celebratory, enriched by blue inserts, tribute to the timeless elegance of the Principality, synonymous with luxury, history, prestige, and the sea. Blue is also Leclerc’s favorite color. Monaco is inspiration. For him it is also home, the best place in the world. He knows every corner and every curve. Here he discovered the F1 and fell in love with it. Here he returns as soon as he can, to do things ever. “I was born in Munich, it has always been my home. We all know each other, so even if it seems a big city, even if when we come for the Grand Prix it seems all Wow, in the end when everyone goes away remains life as a village. And it’s the thing I like most”. Charles has always known Louis Prette Jr., son of the CEO of APM, pilot too: he runs in the International GT Open championship and was European champion of the Ferrari Challenge. Together they also play on football, the last stroke the morning after the gala: there was also Arthur, the little of the Leclerc. This collaboration was also born. “Monaco is special. The track is unique and can reserve surprises … and I hope it happens”.
