Turunen says that the Christmas concert promoter Arvati Entertainment GmbH is bankrupt. This is a German company.
“Even though we were aware of their financial difficulties, the promoter collected box office income without paying them to the venues or artist, and then became insolvent,” Turunen writes in his update.
– Under German law, this means that the box office revenue for these performances is now lost, which leaves us in a very difficult situation. To save the concerts and respect your tickets, we have decided to take full responsibility for the performances, he adds.
According to Turunen, they have decided to transfer three almost sold -out concerts to new venues that only offer standing spaces.
– This is how each of you can still participate. The alternative would have been the cancellation that we have been trying hard to avoid, Turunen explains.
– We do our best to keep Christmas life alive and to make sure we can share these valuable moments together, he adds.
