The new 100% electric light commercial vehicle, derived from the passenger version, from which it differs due to the presence of a cargo compartment instead of rear seats, has a declared autonomy of up to 256 km in the WLTP cycle
Leapmotor announced the official opening of orders for the new one T03 Vanthe 100% electric light commercial vehicle designed to meet the needs of professionals who work mainly in urban areas, with a focus on efficiency, sustainability and accessibility. The Chinese car manufacturer, which can count on a strong strategic partnership with Stellantis, strengthens its presence in the light commercial vehicle market with this new model, expanding its offering with a model capable of effectively interpreting the new needs of professional urban mobility. The T03 Van project combines efficient global production with an industrial finalization phase in Italy: the vehicle is in fact initially produced in China in the T03 N1 configuration”incomplete“, without rear seats and seat belts, and subsequently transferred to the factory Mirafioriwhere the finalization in the Lcv version takes place. At this stage the vehicle is completed through the installation of the partition wall and load compartment linings, according to a structured process compliant with N1 approval standards, before distribution to the dealer network. In the panorama of electric commercial vehicles, Leapmotor T03 Van is positioned as one of the most accessible proposals in the segment, with a list price starting from 14,590 euros.

Leapmotor T03 Van comes from the version passenger carwith which it shares dimensions (3.62o mm long, 1,652 mm wide, 1,577 mm long and 2,400 mm wheelbase), equipment and technical contents: 10.1″ infotainment screen, electric handbrake, automatic climate control and rear camera. The powertrain is also unchanged, with the 95 HP (70 kW) and 158 Nm of torque, paired with a 37.3 kWh. The main differences concern the absence of rear seats, replaced by a large load compartment, the panoramic roof and the adoption of 15″ black steel wheels, specific for the N1 version. Designed for urban professional use, the Leapmotor T03 Van stands out for its compact external dimensions and a regular and easily usable load compartment, with a capacity of up to 657 litres. The internal dimensions of the compartment make the vehicle ideal for delivery, service, technical assistance and light craft activities. The 100% electric motor has a declared autonomy of up to 256km in the WLTP combined cycle, reduced management costs and the possibility of accessing ZTLs and urban areas with limited traffic, which are increasingly widespread in the main Italian cities.
