TO their names might still mean little to some, but the singers LDA and Aka7even, who will be competing with the song in Sanremo 2026 Clandestine Poems, they already have a lot of music behind them and just as much desire to be noticed.

The Sanremo song anticipates the album of the same name, which will be released on March 6th.
«Last summer we finished our respective tours, we got together with friends who were producers and authors and this song was born”, they told al Corriere della Sera. Hence the idea of proposing it at the Festival. A positive feeling, which led to the album in just 16 days: «Even though we had two albums ready separately, we said to ourselves “Why not do one together?”».
LDA and AKA 7even will be among the big names competing at the next Sanremo festival (IPA).
LDA and Aka7even: what you need to know about them
LDA stands for Luca D’Alessio; 22 years old, he is the third born of Gigi D’Alessio and his first wife Carmela Barbato. Aka is instead Luca Marzano, 25 years. Both have already participated in Sanremo: the first in 2023, with the song If then tomorrowthe second in 2022, with the song Perfect like this. Today they feel more mature and confident. What they have in common is also their participation in Friends by Maria De Filippi, although in different editions: «She is the Madonna, she will watch over us. We haven’t heard from her yet, we don’t want to disturb her. But just before the Festival starts we will need it”, they declared.
From friendship to coexistence
The two artists have known each other for some time, before participating in De Filippi’s talent show: «For eight years», they specified when speaking with the Courier. «We each liked a piece of the other, without even knowing whose it was, and now we even live together». The two young people share an apartment in Milan, together with three other people: «It’s a kind of campus where we never feel alone. And the human relationship also cohesed the musical project well.”
Mutual respect
At the basis of their bond there is also great admiration, a glue that led them to collaborate in an almost natural way. «With autotune or without, we both know how to sing, we studied a lot. Aka is among the best male voices in Italy, at the moment he is only below Mengoni and I don’t understand why people haven’t noticed him yet, I would steal his voice”, said LDA of his colleague, who replied: “Luchino has an incredible attitude that counts more than his voice, he will have many satisfactions and a long-lasting career. He’s a brother.” A rare harmony, which could help give them great satisfaction.
