Lazio-Rome Derby clashes, 6 others Ultra arrested: the latest

The police arrested today six others ultras, three from Lazio and three from Rome, who participated in the violent clashes that took place in the hours before the start of the derby last Sunday. Twenty -four wounded policemen, several businesses with extended showcases, numerous private and damaged service vehicles: this is the first budget of the very serious episodes of urban guerrilla warfare recorded in the area of ​​Ponte Milvio and Cardinal Consalvi.

The violence began at 17.30, when a group of 500 ultras of Rome, from Piazza Mancini, tried to reach Ponte Milvio where the Lazio fans had found themselves, attacking some contingents of the police forces placed barring the road. In those situations about 1000 ultrà of Lazio, who in turn were moving towards the Olympic stadium, recalled by the movement of the Romans, made back and searched the clash with the Giallorossi fans, without succeeding only thanks to the intervention of the police wards that operated some charges of lightening. The clashes in Ponte Milvio lasted for several minutes during which, the police, to disperse the factorous, had also had to resort to the launch of tear gas and the use of the hydraise.

The investigations, launched by the Digos agents of the Rome Police Headquarters immediately after the end of the clashes, also through the viewing of the video material shot by the scientific police and downloaded by television broadcasters and social issues, have made it possible to identify, among the participants in the violence, and arrest in the deferred flagrance six fans, three of Rome and three of Lazio, all known faces, belonging to the groups of the so farms “Violenta”. “Quadraro”, “Insurrection” and “Ultras Lazio”, one of the latter already burdened by the Daspo provision and another belonging to the far right team “CasaPound”. The same, all subjected to home search pursuant to art. 352 of the CPP, have been taken up in the performance of dangerous and harmful active conduct of the safety of others, with violence on people and things, in competition with each other. For all the procedures have been started the imposition of the Daspo. The positions of numerous other fans, even foreigners, in the process of identifying, remain under the examination of Digos. The arrests carried out today are part of the preliminary investigations phase for which the suspects are to be considered innocent until definitive sentence.
