Lazio, Lotito sul Flaminio: “It could become Lazio’s stadium”

The Lazio president on the stadium project: “We also need infrastructure and a cover”

Stadio Flaminio yes, but only under certain conditions. During an interview with Radio Radio, the president of Lazio Claudio Lotito returned to talk about the possibility for his club to take over the Flaminio stadium and make it the new home of Lazio. “Lazio needs a stadium and Flaminio is an idea that can be transformed into something concrete”, Lotito’s premise. However, he specified: “For it to take place, three conditions must be met: the capacity must be increased from the current 16,000 spectators to at least 40-45,000, then the structure must be equipped with a roof and finally, parking lots and infrastructures must be created which allow the public to reach the stadium easily”.

Teamwork

To make all this possible, it is essential to implement teamwork which, according to Lotito, is the real secret of every winning project. “Alone you don’t go anywhere even if you have the means and the ideas – adds the president -. Teamwork is always fundamental. In football, if a dressing room is compact, you always win”. But the argument also applies to politics: “Whoever has been elected – the senator points out – must represent the people and act exclusively in the interest of the community. We must avoid that the “res publica” becomes res private. Unfortunately, politics has often distanced from the real needs of the people. And this is what companies must also do towards their employees: always act in everyone’s interest”. Finally, Lotito also had his say on a hot topic such as that of justice: “The timing is fundamental. Justice is not enough for it to arrive, it must also arrive quickly. Otherwise, the dignity and freedom of the individual will suffer”.
