Lazio and Celtic faced each other in the 5th week match of UEFA Champions League Group E.
The first half of the match, played at the Rome Olympic Stadium and directed by referee Halil Umut Meler, ended goalless.
Lazio took the lead with Ciro Immobile in the 82nd minute. Immobile scored his and his team’s second goal 3 minutes later.
Following this result, Lazio got its second win in a row and rose to 10 points. Celtic, who had no victory in the group, remained with 1 point.
In the last week of the group, Celtic will host Feyenoord at home. Lazio will play away at Atletico Madrid.
