Lawyers want to make mincemeat of ‘hacked evidence’: ‘Fair trial is at stake’

Can the judiciary continue to imprison serious (drug) criminals with evidence from hacked messaging services? Not if it is up to dozens of Dutch criminal lawyers. They published an open fire letter this week in which they warn that in addition to the right to a fair trial, our privacy is also at stake.
