The lawyers of Salah Abdeslam, who was sentenced to life in prison as a co-perpetrator in the Paris attacks on Wednesday evening, without ever standing a chance of being released, questioned that conviction on Thursday. The conviction “does not appear to be in accordance with the law”, one of his lawyers, Martin Vettes, told the French radio station ‘France Inter’.
