BERLIN (dpa-AFX) – The Bundestag is taking action against climate-damaging F-gases. A law that MPs passed in the evening restricts the use of fluorinated greenhouse gases. They are used, among other things, in refrigerators, air conditioning systems and heat pumps. In the future, such devices may only be sold if the F-gases they contain have been correctly recorded and approved within strict quotas.
