The match between Argentina and Puerto Rico was moved one day (and from Chicago to Miami) for security and public order reasons

Lautaro is forced to rest less than expected upon returning from commitments with his Argentina. The Inter captain is on the other side of the ocean and will first face (at 2am Italian time on Saturday) Venezuela at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens and then Puerto Rico in a friendly. This last match, however, will not be played at Soldier Field in Chicago as initially planned, but in Miami and the reason is linked to public order: the continuous protests in the city which made it impossible to organize the event which was therefore rescheduled 24 hours later in another city, postponed from Monday to Tuesday.

lautaro non-stop

What does it mean for Inter and specifically for Lautaro? That the attacker will return to Italy no earlier than the late afternoon of Wednesday, rather than in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday (which would therefore have allowed him to work off the trip a little on that same day) and must immediately be available to Chivu for Thursday’s session. An inconvenience that will take away some rest from the captain in view of the match against Roma at the Olimpico (Saturday 18th at 8.45pm) with which the Nerazzurri will dive back into the championship once the break is over. Eight thousand kilometers – just the Miami-Milan return -, just one training session and then finishing: Lautaro’s post-Argentina timetable is very tight.
