The Utah Jazz are celebrating the Finn’s big night.

The media surrounded Lauri Markkas after the terrible night. PDO

Lauri Markkanen scored as many as 51 points against Phoenix last night.

This is how the Finn became Karl Malone’s and the first Jazz player since April 1998 to score at least 50 points in a single regular season game.

Dare we say… TO THE MARKET, Jazz asked Finns on Instagram.

A few Finns gave the idea a green light in the comment field.

Markkase, who toiled for 45 minutes in the match, was asked after the match in the arena’s entrance if he was tired.

– No, I’m never tired, Markkanen answered.

Utah’s Finnish star has been in a terrible mood in the first games of the season, as Markkanen’s average points per game is now 34.7.

A grade point average higher than a jazz star is only Giannis Antetokounmpo (36.0), With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (35.8) and With Austin Reaves (35.8).

Utah head coach Will Hardy recalled after the matchthat Markkanen is much more than just a scorer. He is a great example for other players.

– He doesn’t ask for anything. He does not complain about anything, even if he is not fed. He encourages others, Hardy praised Markkanen’s leadership qualities.

The coach also said that the Finn is able to concentrate on the game, even though he is constantly being torn and violated so that his lips are sometimes open.

– We want our young players to see that you just have to go through. It’s not always pretty and easy.

The Jazz have won two of the first three games of the season under Markkanen’s leadership. After the Phoenix game, a teammate Jusuf Nurkic shared a picture of Markkase in an interview with accompanying words Mister Finisher.

Markkanen “commented” on the messaging service X on Nurkić’s view with a crying emoticon. In addition, the Finn cheered on his team after the victory.

– I love this team, let’s continue in the same way, Markkanen beamed.
