Warner Bros. Discovery’s communications and PR manager tells Iltalehte whether the sentence received by Lauri “Late” Huttunen will affect the publication of the series Latela – the south calls.

Latelafamiliar from the program Lauri “Late” Huttunen42, was sentenced on Thursday in Pirkanmaa District Court for spreading information that violates private life, defamation and illegal threats.
Huttunen aims for the future Latela – the south is calling series. Iltalehti reached out to Warner Bros. Discover’s communications and PR manager Jenni Kokkonen to tell whether Huttunen’s sentence will affect the publication of the series.
– Doesn’t matter. So the series starts on March 4, says Kokkonen.
Was it absolutely clear to you that Huttunen’s sentence will not affect the publication of the series, and if so, why?
– We have nothing else to comment on this other than the fact that the program will come out exactly as planned, Kokkonen replies.

Huttunen received a common punishment for the crimes, which is an 80-day fine. A total of 3,680 euros will be payable to him.
In addition to that, he must compensate thousands of euros in court costs and a total of 4,750 euros for the victims. The judgment is not binding.
The victims of the crimes were two people belonging to Huttunen’s close circle, one of whom is a minor.
Huttunen pleaded guilty to spreading information that violates private life. According to the verdict, he had published information about the private life of a minor victim on his public Facebook account in a way that was likely to cause him damage, suffering or contempt. The acts took place in summer 2024 and January 2025.
