In the program, Friman’s refrigerator, health information and lifestyle are the reasons for doctor Pippa Lauka. Friman says that he struggled with the cross pressure of the joys of indulgence and the challenges of losing weight.

– I am a very impulsive pleasure-seeker, for whom such self-discipline is a really repulsive thought, Friman describes.

– One and a half years ago, that morning, when I returned from our honeymoon, I decided that now I need a change in life. I felt so bloated, sick and out of breath.

However, Friman says that he has remained in a kind of “junking phase”, where motivation has run out.

Laukka notices during the presentation of the refrigerator and the dry goods cabinet, how Friman tends to easily compartmentalize different food ingredients into good and bad.

– The reason why my goodies are not here is because I would have eaten them already. I would never leave anything unfinished.

Friman says that he has had crises with his weight and that he has lost weight almost his entire life.

– Shameful, but true, he admits.

– Health reasons are becoming important for the first time, but before that it was because of appearance, which I think is really sad.

Friman wants help in maintaining the eating habits he has already learned and in examining his own relationship with food.

However, Laukka also digs out a separate plate of treats, which includes chocolate, pastries and chips, among other things.

– Now you are deliberately trying to seduce me, Friman sighs.

– If this were in front of me at a dinner party, I would be quite restless until it is empty.

During the body composition measurements, Friman found out that his body has more fat mass than the reference values.

– It’s a particularly bad thing because of this, Laukka highlights a part of the results that shows the reference values for visceral fat, i.e. visceral fat.

– I’m thinking of going out of there from the meter, Friman cheers up.

The well-being analysis revealed something that surprised Friman.

– This actually pretty much nails your results, so your recovery is quite unfortunate, Laukka states.

– Is it? What? I’ve imagined that I’ll just be lazy and get back to going, Friman replies.

– But there is still so much to do that you feel frustrated or exhausted, Friman agonizes.
