Latvian inspectors will inspect Russian military installations in the Smolensk and Bryansk regions. This was announced by the head of the National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction Sergei Ryzhkov, reports “RIA News”.
“From 24 to 29 January 2022, Latvia will conduct an inspection of the specified area on the territory of Russia within the framework of the Vienna Document 2011 on confidence- and security-building measures. The Russian Federation agreed to this inspection,” Ryzhkov said.
He clarified that the check will be carried out in the Bryansk and Smolensk regions on an area of 13.2 thousand square meters. km.
