Illegal pushbacks are the norm on the European borders. The NGO for international solidarity 11.11.11 states this in a new report, which is based on research by human rights organizations in, among others, Hungary, Bulgaria and Croatia. In 2024, 120.457 illegal pushbacks took place, which were often accompanied by violence.
