Genesis have broken up! Of course, the last number of “The Last Domino?” tour (read the review of the gig HERE) turned out to be a special event. After all, it meant the end of a unique formation that is one of the most successful of the 20th century.

One of the highlights of the evening was the initially barely noticeable presence of Peter Gabriel in the audience, later addressed by singer Phil Collins on stage. After the concert there was a selfie – so to speak, as proof of the warm-hearted reunion in the last few meters, which, however, did not envisage a live comeback.

“After tonight we all have to find real jobs”

For Phil Collins it was definitely the final farewell to stage life. His health condition prevents further deployments, as he had announced in advance. With appropriately emotional words, but also typical British humor, he said: “It’s the last stop on our tour and it’s the last show for Genesis. It’s hard for us to believe that you still came to see us!

Only to then add with a laugh: “Yes, after tonight we all have to look for real jobs”.
