The acquittal vote ended in the financial general assembly that started in Galatasaray. After the vote count, the late former president Mustafa Cengiz and his administration were released financially and administratively in the first half of 2021, while the current president Burak Elmas and his management were released financially, but not administratively.

1383 votes were cast for administrative activities. The distribution of votes was 566 acquittals, 801 expulsions and 16 abstentions. For financial activities, 1385 votes were cast, with 718 acquittals, 638 abstentions and 29 abstentions.

President Burak Elmas came to the podium after the results were announced and said, “We have tried to serve as much as we can. The yellow-red club will take an extraordinary general assembly decision in accordance with the statute, and the current chairman and members of the board of directors will not be able to participate in this election.
