Where can families stay particularly cheap during the summer vacation? A current Holidu evaluation shows that popular holiday countries such as France, Sweden and Poland also offer surprisingly low prices.
The ranking is based on a data analysis of the Holidu holiday home portal, which evaluated the average overnight prices from June to September in European countries. Only family -suitable holiday accommodations were taken into account.

If you want to travel with the family, you don’t necessarily have to dig deep into your pocket – this shows a current evaluation of the Holidu holiday home portal, which analyzed the average overnight prices for holiday accommodation in European countries. The calculation was based on the prices from June to September, i.e. over the entire summer. The result: Popular travel countries also offer surprisingly cheap options – especially apart from the classic tourist hotspots. These ten countries offer the cheapest average accommodation prices in summer. The data of the data is June 2025.

10th place: Portugal

Spain remains a classic among the holiday destinations. Despite hotspots such as Mallorca, the national average is 171.25 euros – many cheaper regions make it possible.
