LAST MINUTE – Berke Özer announced that he left Fenerbahce – Last minute Fenerbahce news

Fenerbahçe’s young goalkeeper Berke Özer has announced that he has left the team. Transferring from Altınordu to the yellow-dark blue team in 2018, Berke was loaned to the Belgian League team Westerlo in 2019. Returning to Fenerbahçe in 2021, the 22-year-old net keeper could not find the chance to play the form he wanted. Berke Özer, who saw 17 goals in 14 matches in the Super League this season, announced the separation in his statement on his social media account after his contract expired.

Here is the statement from Berke Özer:

“My Big Fenerbahce Family,

I’m leaving my club, Fenerbahçe, where my heroes play and I stepped through as a supporter at a young age.

My feelings are mixed. Whatever I say will be incomplete. For as long as I can remember, it’s been really hard for me to leave my childhood love, whose colors make my heart tremble every time I see it, and whose jersey I’ve been carrying on my back with pride for 4 years, and whose coat of arms I’ve been carrying in my heart for 4 years. But I know that that door is always wide open to me.

This time has been an incredible experience for me. You have been a great support to me from day one. I was sad, happy, crying, laughing with you. I also worked hard to serve this jersey in the best way possible.

My dear family, maybe I will no longer be able to support Fenerbahçe from the field; but my heart and soul and all my support will continue. This separation is never goodbye. I will always continue to experience the pride and happiness of being a part of Fenerbahçe and a supporter.

I would like to thank our President, Mr. Ali Koç, for their unwavering support during this process, our managers, my teachers, my teammates, all club personnel and the great Fenerbahçe fans who have never left me alone.

Get your right.

Berke”
