UEFA EURO 2024: How can you still buy European Championship tickets?

Where will the opening game of the European Championship take place in Germany? Can you still get tickets for the first game of reigning European champions Italy? And in which stadiums do the knockout round games take place? (for an overview of EURO 2024: which teams will play when and in which stadiums?) Most of the approximately 2.7 million European Championship tickets have been sold. Demand significantly exceeded supply. Another major sales phase is no longer planned. However, the European Football Union UEFA will offer a resale platform from March 6, 2024. On this ticket resale platform, people who have received a EM ticket but cannot or do not want to use it can sell their ticket. There are also some so-called hospitality packages with tickets, but these are probably out of the question for most fans in terms of price.

What is the UEFA EURO 2024 Ticket Resale Platform and how does it work?

There will be several sales phases during which fans can buy and sell EM tickets for EURO 2024 matches in Germany. During the relevant time slots, ticket holders can offer as many of their tickets as they want for purchase. The EM tickets can then be purchased by interested parties within a certain time window according to the first come – first served principle. Across the tournament, fans may purchase a maximum of four (4) tickets per game and a maximum of twelve (12) tickets in total, depending on availability. If EM tickets remain unsold, they will automatically be returned to the ticket holders and there will be no refund of the purchase price. The UEFA Ticket Resale platform will remain open until the end of March 2024. After that, there will be no further opportunities to offer tickets for resale.

Further information about the UEFA EURO 2024 ticket resale platform:

• UEFA’s Ticket Resale platform will be available to sell Euro tickets until March 11, 2024, 11am CET.

• From March 13, 2024, 11 a.m. CET until March 14, 2024, 11 a.m. CET, UEFA’s Ticket Resale platform will be available to purchase the Euro 2020 tickets on offer.

• If the sale is successful, you will receive a confirmation email. The full amount will then be refunded to the same Alipay account/credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets.

• UEFA’s ticket resale platform will open in multiple time slots. If ticket sales are not successful in the current time slot, the tickets will be offered for purchase in additional time slots. The exact time slots will be announced euro2024.com/tickets published.
