Large plume of smoke on iconic Hooverdam near Las Vegas: fire already extinguished

In a video circulating on Twitter, a large plume of smoke can be seen at the iconic Hoover Dam. This concrete dam, more than 200 meters high, is located on the border between the US states of Nevada and Colorado. The Boulder city council (located 12 kilometers from the dam) says that the fire was extinguished by the time the fire brigade arrived.
