Large fire destroys classrooms of primary school in Eindhoven

A large fire has destroyed several classrooms of primary school St. Antonius Abt on the Maasstraat in Eindhoven. The damage is extensive, but the fire brigade was able to save a large part of the school. There is a lot of smoke and water damage.

The fire raged in several classrooms. A lot of smoke was released. Residents were advised to keep windows and doors closed. An NL-alert was sent to people in the area.

The fire brigade fought the flames with, among other things, a cherry picker. No one was injured. It is unclear how the fire started.
