A shed on the Mascagnistraat in Tilburg where demolition was being demolished, was destroyed early in the afternoon by a big fire. The dark clouds of smoke could be seen in almost the entire city. There were employees present in the shed when the fire started.
The employees were able to leave the shed safely and were taken care of by the emergency services. The shed was completely on fire, but there was no question of a risk of expansion. The shed is detached.
Around half past one in the afternoon the fire was under control, also known as a Brand Meester. The fire brigade is present with several fire trucks and a platform to extinguish. This can take some time.
Dark clouds
The shed is in the middle of a residential area. How the fire started is unknown. There was a demolition in the shed on the Mascagnistraat. The clouds of smoke that created through the fire were very dark and traveled over Tilburg.
The street where the fire raged is temporarily closed. Local residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed and not to switch on the ventilation, because re -extinguishing is still busy.
