Tom Vanacker from Langemark has been appointed as national sepsis coordinator. He must better coordinate the various initiatives in the fight against sepsis in Belgium. Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke announced this during a visit to AZ Groeninge in Kortrijk, where a pilot project on the early detection of sepsis has just been completed.
