Berlin is not LA and Torstrasse is not the infamous Sunset Strip. Nevertheless, the lala Berlin boutique at Alte Schönhauser Straße 3 is filled with the spirit of late sixties and early seventies rock’n’roll, captured in the SS22 Collection.
“California Dreaming” and John Lennon’s “Imagine” form the title of the new collection: “Imagine Dreaming”. It’s not nostalgic or retro, though. It’s just the hopeful, forward looking glimpse of a brighter future. The interior of the lala Berlin Boutique is characterized by the energy of Good Vibrations and the Summer of Love. That sentiment is reflected outside in the unique and inspirational design aesthetic of the new SS22 storefront, designed by JoAnn Tan Studios.
Inspired by Leyla Piedayesh’s core concept for the collection that “we all have within us a desire for lightness and lightheartedness”, JoAnn Tan Studio has captured the free-spirited and playful essence of the collection in the new window dressing for SS22.
