Lady Gaga canceled a concert on her “Mayhem Ball” tour in Montreal at short notice. The singer is suffering from a respiratory infection and contacted fans via Instagram Story.
Lady Gaga is currently traveling around the globe with her “Mayhem Ball” tour, delighting thousands of fans. She is currently in the final phase of the tour and is performing in the Canadian city of Montreal. The singer already played there on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, and Friday, April 3rd, 2026. Another concert was planned – but now the global star announced bad news for all ticket holders.
Concert canceled for health reasons
Lady Gaga canceled her upcoming concert in Montreal at short notice. She made the announcement in an Instagram Story, saying, “My doctor strongly advised me not to perform today and honestly I don’t think I could give you the performance you deserve today.” She was also visibly affected by the cancellation and wrote: “I am completely devastated and I am so sorry.”
The reasons are health-related. The 40-year-old is currently suffering from a respiratory infection. This has been bothering her for a few days and she is “doing everything I can to rest and get well again, but it has gotten worse,” explained the “Pokerface” interpreter. In addition, she “really couldn’t feel worse” about “letting her fans down.” Last September, Lady Gaga had to cancel a concert in Miami due to problems with her voice.
What’s next for the tour?
It is not yet known whether the tour can continue as planned. Two concerts are scheduled to take place in Saint Paul, Minnesota, next Thursday, April 9th, and Friday, April 10th. The Grammy winner has not yet said whether she will be on stage.
The tour is scheduled to conclude in New York on Monday, April 13, 2026.
