Lacoste hands over perfume sales for the DACH region to the Nobilis Group

The French fashion brand Lacoste has a new distribution partner for perfumes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Nobilis Group has been responsible for marketing Lacoste fragrances in the DACH region since January 1st, the Wiesbaden-based beauty distributor announced on Friday.

The range of the tennis-inspired brand with the crocodile includes fragrances such as Eau de Lacoste, Match Point and L.12.12, whose licenses have been held by the Paris-based subsidiary of the US group Inter Parfums Inc. since this year. The partnership with Interparfums has a term of 15 years.

The licenses for the fragrances were previously held by the previous partner Coty Inc. The six-year collaboration expired at the end of 2023 and Lacoste bought back the licenses for the fragrances. In a statement at the end of 2022, Lacoste boss Thierry Guibert emphasized that Lacoste was pursuing a new approach to drive growth in a market where the label still sees great potential.
