The German subsidiary of French clothing retailer Lacoste has appointed Alicia Scholt as Head of Communications. In this function, she is now responsible for communication in the DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as in Scandinavia at Lacoste Germany GmbH, the company announced on Tuesday. Scholt therefore reports directly to Patricia Teufel, Director of Marketing for DACH and Scandinavia.

Before moving to Lacoste, Scholt worked for the cosmetics group The Estée Lauder Companies, where she was most recently “responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the communication measures for the MAC Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown brands in the German market,” the company said. Before that she worked for the PR agency Haebmau AG in Munich.

At Lacoste Germany GmbH, Scholt will now “use her knowledge of FMCG marketing to build on the team’s previous successes and measurably expand the marketing activities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia to their full potential through tailor-made, regional 360-degree communication strategies to achieve the brand’s strategic goals,” it said in a statement.
