Kylie Minogue dreams of working with Madonna

The Australian could imagine both a single and live shows with Madonna: “The hut would tremble”.

Can we expect a song together or even more from Kylie Minogue and Madonna anytime soon? If Australian singer Kylie Minogue has his way, then yes! She announced this on the sidelines of the KTUphoria Festival in New York, where she was headlining. Minogue also raised the possibility of a US tour in the near future.

Kylie Minogue: “The cabin would tremble”

Asked about her future plans in an interview, Minogue gave a few glimpses of what she’s up to next. She did not rule out a tour of the United States. “I would love it,” says the “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” singer. “And I think the time is right. There, I said it. Now we will do our best to make it happen,” she continued.

Minogue then talked about a possible collaboration with other artists – specifically, she was asked how she would relate to a common cause with US pop icon Madonna. The musician responded enthusiastically: “Absolutely! […] She’s on tour right now. I don’t have Madonna’s number, but if she and I were in the same city that would be great. The hut would tremble. We should probably issue warnings beforehand!” Madonna has been a role model for Minogue since she was a teenager, and she was already dancing to Madonna’s songs in her bedroom when she was 16.

Madonna recently released the single “Vulgar” with Sam Smith. And Kylie Minogue is currently showing in a duet with Jessie Ware that she still masters electro-pop very well. In addition, she celebrates her first top 10 hit in more than a decade with her new song “Padam Padam”. The accompanying album TENSION will be released in September.
