Kurre and Jenna Westerlund got married in the summer.
When Kurre and Jenna Westerlund were on their honeymoon in Las Vegas, an idea came to mind. The couple was watching the Backstreet Boys’ concert at the crazy Sphere arena. In the aftermath of the gig, before heading to the hotel, the Westerlunds decided to stop by the pubs in Las Vegas to taste tequila.
– That’s where the idea came from, that now one more party will be organized for friends and they’ll go like Christmas, Kurre tells Iltalehte by phone.
– We got such a good feeling from the two-day wedding. Somehow it felt like they ended in the middle. Everyone had so much fun and received great feedback. In Vegas, there was a feeling that we should continue, Jenna adds.

Today, the Westerlunds are organizing a party at their home, where nearly 90 guests are coming. The guest list is partly the same as at the wedding organized in July, but other guests are also to be expected there.
– At the wedding, we had to somewhat limit the guest list because of the facilities. Now we were able to invite a little more people, says Jenna.

The party is kept private, but Kurre sheds some light on the program.
– Of course, at first we talk a little with Jenna and each of us sings something. After that, there will be two more surprise performers, says Kurre before the party.

Guests can also enjoy street food and a photo wall.
The little Christmas theme can also be seen at the party with the Christmas decoration.
– There are so many Christmas trees that one day I noticed that there is already a spruce forest here, Kurre laughs.
The party lasts late
Kurre already felt the evening’s festivities hours before in the story section of Instagram. Stories are available for viewing 24 hours after publication.

However, only water is not available at the party.
– Today we will enjoy good wine, today we will enjoy kumpa and maybe something stronger, Kurre states.
The main thing is that everyone has fun.
– There is a lot of bad news in the world. But amidst all the gloom, we wanted to keep the party going. We know that our guests and friends are genuinely happy that such parties are organized, says Kurre.
It is clear that it may be late.
