KuPS and FC Honka to important points

In all the matches we saw a goal in the last minute.

Three matches were played in Saturday’s round of the Veikkausliiga.

The top team KuPS started poorly as a guest of FC Inter. Ruxi gave the hosts a 1-0 lead at the end of the cross.

In the second period, the game turned when Rodrigo Arciero took the second yellow card of the evening at the 62nd minute. KuPS only had to play with superiority for nine minutes, when Joona Veteli melted the lead of the Turku team.

The decisive moment was seen in the last minutes of the match. KuPS captain Henri Toivomäki pop leaf into the draw slot. Inter goalkeeper Walter Viitala didn’t get the itch properly in his jumps, but it slipped from his armpit just over the finish line.

With their 2–1 win, KuPS secured their lead at the top of the league. FC Honka and HJK come within three points behind.

Honka kiri to levels

FC Honka and AC Oulu settled for a 2–2 draw in Espoo. The visitors started scoring in the 18th minute. Rasmus Karjalainen tough Maatiainen from a 25-meter free kick surprised Honga’s goalkeeper.

At the beginning of the second episode, more started to happen. Next Hongan Agon Sadiku put the match level. Just about five minutes later, AC Oulu Luquinhas bounced the goalkeeper Maksim Rudakovin through a 2–1 lead goal.

Honka frantically searched for an equalizer in the last minutes. by Kevin Jansen the offside goal already showed that the Oulu team was looking for an away win, but the equalizer came in the fourth minute of extra time Otso Koskinen with a bump.

Honka took a point with a draw, which means that the people of Espoo stay behind KuPS in second place in the series with a difference of two points.

Lordship of Pirkanmaa to Haka

In Pirkanmaa’s local competition, FC Haka got past Ilves at the end. Petteri Pennanen scored the opening goal of the match after a quarter of a game. Hakan Elias Mastokangas only equalized for Seven minutes later with a direct cross from the back post to the goal.

Both teams scored goals in the second period, but the winning goal of the evening came four minutes before the end of the actual game time.

The top name in the league’s goal exchange Lee Erwin followed a bouncing ball that bounced off the Ilves players to the Scotsman’s leg and from there to the goal. The final scores remained 3–2 for the visitors, and this year Pirkanmaa’s dominance went to Valkeakoski in both games.
