Kuipers sticks with it: pediatric heart surgery will soon only be in Utrecht and Rotterdam

The plan to have pediatric heart surgery only take place in the University Medical Center Utrecht and the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam is still going ahead. Minister Ernst Kuipers (Public Health) says that the disappearance of pediatric heart surgery from Groningen, Amsterdam and Leiden is inevitable in order to continue to guarantee the quality of care.
