KSC professional Breithaupt near M’gladbach – Bundesliga clubs interested

Most valuable KSC professional

In the most recent market value update of the 2nd Bundesliga, Tim Breithaupt has risen to become by far the most valuable professional at Karlsruher SC. The 20-year-old midfielder, who jumped from €2.8m to €3.5m and was one of the biggest winners, is apparently in demand. As the “picture” reported, several Bundesliga clubs have the DFB junior on their screens.

Borussia Dortmund, VfL Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt should watch Breithaupt regularly. According to the report, another club has now gone a step further: Borussia Mönchengladbach. It is said that Breithaupt and his advisor were already there with the “foals” to take a look at everything there. There is also talk of a conversation with sports director Roland Virkus. There is a necessary transfer fee of around 4 million euros in order to free Breithaupt from KSC. With a change of this magnitude, the defensive player would become a record sale for the Badeners and would be one of the 9 most expensive purchases for under 21s at Gladbach.

Breithaupt was promoted to the first team at his training club in January last year, and there are currently 58 professional appearances with two goals and five assists. He has played 19 games so far this season, amassing 1,609 minutes, surpassed by only three teammates. Coach Christian Eichner recently told “SWR” that Breithaupt is a player “that you just like to have on the pitch as often and as long as possible”. The youngster has a contract with KSC that runs until 2024.
