Kral loan to FC Schalke is imminent

Bundesliga club FC Schalke is about to transfer Alex Kral. The climber confirmed a corresponding report from “Sky” on Tuesday. Accordingly, the 24-year-old should be loaned out for one season by Spartak Moscow.

“It’s true that we intend to sign Alex Kral. There are still some formal issues, so we can’t tell you more at this point,” the club tweeted. The Czech national player is expected for a medical check-up on Wednesday and will then travel to the training camp in Mittersill, Austria.

Kral uses the special transfer regulation for foreign professionals in Russia and Ukraine, which has been extended by FIFA until 2023 as a result of the war of aggression. The midfielder was on loan at West Ham United last season but barely got any playing time there.

With a market value of seven million euros, the right-footed player would be the most valuable new signing at Royal Blue this summer. In addition to Schalke, Hertha BSC and RB Leipzig were recently associated with Kral.
