KPN sees growth in business market for the first time in ten years | NOW

KPN achieved growth in the business market for the first time in ten years last quarter. According to CEO Joost Farwerck, there is a turnaround when it comes to providing telecom services to companies.

“And that puts the company ahead of schedule,” said Farwerck. Earlier this year, the CEO said he was aiming for a stabilization of the business market. He wanted to achieve that by the end of this year.

KPN has grown across the board, also in terms of the number of customers and revenue from mobile services. The group achieved a turnover of 1.3 billion euros, an increase of 1 percent. Operating profit was also higher.

Less profit remained below the line, but according to KPN, this is mainly due to investments in the fiber network. If such one-time costs are not included, profits would increase.
