In volleyball the average height has undoubtedly risen in the last thirty years and now for some players the female net at 224 cm seems to have become almost short (for men it is 243 cm). In terms of centimeters, Russia is certainly the one that has produced the most players over the two meter threshold. The latest is Valeriya Kozlova, 2005, a 210 cm opposite who moved from Zarechie Odintsovo to Barry University in Miami, becoming the tallest college player in American history (but a 214 cm 2007 player is also registered in Russia).
